The Real Scream Queens has an intimate relationship with the Hotel as our founding queen, Kassandra, used to be a co-owner of the Hotel and completely redesigned it for a complete facelift based on superstitions in 2002. Her then husband, Allan Clifford, designed the iconic and infamous Hellevator, a staple to the Hotel and it's roots. While mostly everything in the Hotel had changed as it has changed hands several times, it was nice to see the old bones remain (the Hellevator, the historic staircase, the attached building, etc). The Queens were surprised and excited to hear that the Haunted Hotel had evolved into Louisville's only EXTREME haunt, meaning those scary creepy characters CAN and WILL touch you. They will shout obscenities at you and they might even LICK you. That's right. One fella sure tried to do just that to one of us! We know a haunt of this nature is not for beginners and certainly not for the weak at heart! Be prepared for the characters to not just touch you, but really give you a good shake down. They will rough you up just enough to make you really doubt your ability to enter the next room. But there is NO WAY OUT. Once you are in, you are in and you've got to find your way out or you become a permanent guest. These characters are high energy, fully invested in their roles and will most likely follow you to the parking lot on your way out. We HIGHLY recommend the Hotel for the person looking for the ultimate experience. You will most certainly find that here!
