Get your beauty sleep—-Fact or myth?

I’ve been on a path to overall wellness and I know that a big part of my problems lie in the sleep, diet and exercise department. I decided to learn a little more about sleep and what was truly the best way to get it, how long it should really be (🤩Hint: it’s not 8 hours!) and why it’s truly important to your inner and outer beauty. I’ve collected some great tips and information so I thought I would share with you here, so read on and then make yourself a sleep plan like me! I just set an alarm on my phone for my new bedtime and wake time and I plan to honor them! 💪 I’ll be taking a lot about this on my social media and let you know if I’m truly looking and feeling better once I implement this (it starts tonight!). I know this is a big step in the right direction towards looking and feeling better. Who’s with me? Those you that want the QUICK And fast tips— Here you go:

That’s the quick tips— I‘ll be adding in a melatonin supplement as well as honoring new bed and wake times. For you quick readers who just want bullet points, there you go. If you want to know more, keep reading for more reasons why and how you would get good sleep. I promise, it’s worth it! 🙌

Some of you may know I’ve been told by my doctor that I am walking a dangerous line on diabetes. My numbers are teetering on prediabetes so, while I recently accepted by body for what it was, I have had to reevaluate got health reasons and will be focused on being HEALTHY-my body type is not—mid section/belly fat increases my chance of heart disease and diabetes. So while I learned to love myself for all of my flaws, I want to be alive a long time to embrace this life, have grandbabies and travel with my soulmate. I found the following information especially helpful as I’ve functioned in less than 6 hours of sleep for a very long time. 😱

So that pretty much solidified to me why I need a better sleep plan. But if heath is not your concern, maybe beauty is:

I found a great bedtime calculator to help you figure out your rise and fall times—I’m going with 7.5 hours as I read about the importance of 90 minute cycles and not disrupting them.

so after reading all this, go to the calculator and figure out your rise and fall time! I’m going with 11:30pm to 7 am, but I might work to move them both up an hour and get my morning meditation and workout in before everyone rise rises—we’ll see! Put yours in the comments below! Good night! Sweet dreams! 🥱😴😴😴😴
